Upon turning 43 years old or so, I found that it became quite difficult to lose weight. I typically exercise regularly and did not have a weight problem until I reached my “middle age years.” Even with regular exercise, I could not lose weight and I continued to slowly put on excess weight. I am a healthy eater but I also enjoy more than one portion, thanks to my wonderful wife’s terrific cooking. I never consulted with a nutritionist before and always considered myself to have lead a healthy life style, yet I easily became over 30 pounds overweight.
