Dr. Tina Yang is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with a strong focus on primary care and preventive medicine, ensuring continuity of care beyond acute emergencies. Born in the United States and fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish, she provides culturally sensitive, patient-centered care to diverse communities.
With extensive experience in urgent care, chronic disease management, aesthetic medicine, and global health, Dr. Yang bridges the gap between emergency and primary medicine. She puts a heavy emphasis on holistic wellness, early intervention, and long-term patient health. Dr. Yang also specializes in cosmetic dermatology procedures.
Dr. Yang earned her master’s of science in international health from Uppsala University in Sweden, where her research centered on HIV chronic care management in Uganda. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from TuoroCOM Middletown, where she focused on holistic care and preventive approaches to medicine. She then completed her emergency medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens, specializing in global health and community medicine. She is certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS.

Dr. Yang’s passion for global health leadership has taken her across the world, designing community health programs in China, Norway, and Ecuador. She has also trained international physicians in acute and preventive care strategies, particularly in low-resource settings, furthering her commitment to global health equity.
